Link campaigns are one of the most talked about marketing strategies on the Internet today. And there are several different options you have when you want to treat AIDS and effective marketing campaign that includes links to authority sites as well as websites that offer related services and products.
A link campaign can be as simple as creating a request that sent by e-mail to webmaster of the site that offers a related product or service that would be valuable to the visitors of your website as a referral point.
There are also a variety of companies and services available to help you to create a link marketing program on extremely wide scale. Many of these services or link building campaign managers are free however there are several that require a monthly or per link service fee to be paid.
Of course the question is which is better to use? The search engines have frowned on paid link building campaigns for some time now and several webmasters have found themselves without a search engine listing as a result of purchasing paid links. In addition to the fact that paid Link campaigns are not the favorite of the search engines there are also the bulbous link sellers that have taken many webmasters for right.
To date the most successful way to create a link campaign is by focusing on providing quality and highly relevant content on your website. Does it matter how many inbound links or outbound links you have on your website? It will certainly does make a difference in terms of how closely associated the website is to your product and service and the level of authority the website has created for themselves on the Internet.
Outbound links should follow the same rule of thumb: any website you request a link to should have a high level of relevancy and information that will serve as a benefit to your visitors as well as helping your search engine listing.
The most important part of creating a link campaign is to become organized and this means a great deal of research. The first place to begin your research is on your own website you need to carefully examine the content that you are offering to identify the types of authority websites that would want to link to you. Melvins last blog post..What Makes You Rich The Most?
i have been reading all across the blogosphere about linking to sites with great relevancy to one’s own blog, but i think the other way around this will bring us to another dimension of blogging factors - link popularity. just a thought, correct me if i am wrong. good day!
I’ve heard some good things about this blog. Remember to balance the pics with the text tho. cheers!
I like that you stated “any website you request a link to should have a high level of relevancy and information that will serve as a benefit to your visitors as well as helping your search engine listing.”, salwa. The problem I see emerging in recent years is this. Everyone knows content is king, but few seem to be willing to put in the time required to create good original content. Then they wonder why no one visits their site apart from the bots.
There needs to be a balance found in the time spent on promotion and SEO, and the creation of new content. It’s refreshing to see at least one person is still thinking of what their visitors would like! Bravo.
