I found the “Are you too shy to succeed?” link the most compelling. I never really thought about the effects that my shyness had on me as a child. This article open my eyes on a couple things and also showed me some issues that I still need to work on. Keep it up man, you're doing good ;-). He gets terribly tongue tied sometimes when meeting new people and it'll do him good to know it's quite natural to feel a bit on the nervous side with new experiences. Funny enough, I've always had an RSS feed but never thought about adding an email subscription for blog posts. I suppose I just assumed everyone would subscribe to the feed but obviously going by what you said, not everyone wants to do it that way.
