I also think that the design of a blog is very important because when the reader comes and doesnt like what he is seeing than he leaves.

What i try to do is create a blog for my affiliate business but use a color scheme that attracts the eye. I dont like when i go to a blog and it looks mundane, all business and no play. When choosing a design for a blog, put yourself in the visitors place. Would you like to visit a blog overflowing with ads, cluttered posts and hard to find categories, or would you like a clean simple style with everything in place. I guess you would choose latter, since you do not to get lost in the “wilderness of a blog”.
Design is the key to attract visitors and putting up a rocking theme can just help you convert the visitors into loyal readers.
