I have seen people as young as 5 having their own blogs. John Chow's daughter, Sally, who is still a baby has her own blog. In other words, blogging is for everyone. "Nobody reads blogs" - ahh? So why are there so many popular blog with virtually thousands of readers and commentators. And why are there commentators here on blogriffic if no one reads blogs. "There is no money in blogging" - yeah true, for someone who has been living under the rock for all this time! Look at John Chow, Problogger and Copyblogger for examples of people who make their living just by blogging. "Blogging is inferior to having your own website" - on the contrary, blogs are more successful in attracting traffic than a normal website. That is the reason all major online companies have a dedicated blog to post about their new ideas and products. It also helps these companies receive consumer feedback. "Blogging is but a temporary fad" - haha, the most absurd of all myths. Blogging has been around since the start of the internet and it is sure to continue. "Blogging is dangerous" - maybe...if you are a political blogger in a dictatorship. I can only wonder how a "White Hat" SEO blog can be dangerous for a webmaster.
