As an experienced blogger, I know how difficult it is to provide your readers new found ideas to be shared and read by everybody. Even if I know I am skilled and practiced, I still find myself running out of topics to share and ideas to put into lexis and finally a chronicled masterwork. All these are what I experienced not until I come across blogging topic tips which have given my mind some exercise and brain waves to put into writing.
When you experience writer’s block, do not immediately resort to deleting and closing the blog. Keep in mind that the more active blogger you are, the greater the tendencies for more blog topics to write. Given this state of affairs, what every writer should do is to stop dwelling on your own ideas and ideologies rather go out and explore the world. To let loose those creative minds, you need to draw your inspirations to these following blog topic tips:
1. Search for forums. I personally can attest that this has been one of the most effective electronic channel ever graced the World Wide Web. With this, you will come to interact with different kinds of people from all over the globe whilst share your own ideas as well. You will be surprised how these people can bring new ideas for you to write on your blog. Just by merely searching topics on different threads you will surely hit upon the right words to get you started.
2. Hop from one blog site to another. Of course you need to practice blogger’s courtesy at some point yet, you can also hop from a friend or colleague’s blog site and see which topics interest you. However, you also need to consider that copying a blogger’s own ideas is considered a form of cheating. Hence, you need to be very keen when it comes to this matter. You need to draw a line between getting new ideas and from stealing a blogger’s own thoughts, designs and brainchild.
3. Employ some keyword research. I have proven this to work to my advantage as I browse through search engines with the use of targeted keywords. If I am trying to write a topic about beauty, then keywords mostly come with, ‘the best beauty tips’, ‘ways to stay attractive and beautiful’ and a lot of other keyword phrases that talks more of the topic I wish to write. This helps me formulate a new twist and create a new slant in coming up with a good idea to scribble down.
4. Interaction with readers. A good and effective blogger knows how to interact with his readers. I also find this as a good way to build relationship with my audience and establish my own image to draw a lot more people to visit my blog while helping me put into words some ideas provided by them.
Once you have all these with you, I can assure you that you will never run out of winning ideas and topics to say, share and impart to your readers. Happy blogging!

I think the most important one is to ask your readers what they would like to learn more about or know. If you do this, you will provide them with information that will benefit them tremendously.
Great writeup!! I personally use many of these tips already and can definitely vouch for their efficacy!!!
I actually started going to different forums and reading up on what people need answer too. The keyword stuff i’m not toogood at because I just dislike doing but very necessary.
Those are some great tips – another facet I have used to find stuff to blog about is actually in other blogs comments! There are a lot of blogs out there where the blogger doesnt actually reply to any of his messages, and so a lot of questions go unanswered there – so why not take the time to do some digging and answer them? Send that user a message on his blog to say you’ve taken the time to address his question, and you practically have a friend/subscriber for life!

I like this idea. You can pull readers away from so called guru’s who don’t care to respond to comments.
My suggestion for topics would be to continue your learning and development. Watch documentaries, read books, magazines, and go to lectures and seminars. These are some of the best ways to stimulate your mind and give you ideas to present to your Blog Family. It sharpens your skills, knowledge, and understanding while making the read more enjoyable and full of more depth, resources, and suggestions.
Continue your development.
Good post. I’ve already started utilizing a few of your tips. Thanks a bunch.
I agree with Freddie on that one. Always pushing forward, learning new things, reading and all that will keep you focused and ideas will come in. The important think is to take notes of these ideas when they happen so you don’t forget them.

Great post. I also find that sometimes the juices are really flowing for ideas and when that happens I just start typing in headlines into the posts section so I have alot of drafts to look at. Then when I am having a tough day I look those over and pick one to work on.
Jen,
I do that too but if I am not in a writing mood sometimes it doesn’t help much. If I am in a writing mood I don’t need the help!
As for keywords, you can also look into your own stats to see how readers are finding you.

I like your approach, nothing wrong with learning from others but be mindful to give credit when due by citing sources, like I’ll be required to do when writing research papers this semester. Wow, fun times are a head.
Also, tuning into the conversations of other blogs and forums within your niche is vital. It’s helpful to know what’s being said, by who and when it was said. Look the for gaps and fill them; take a different perspective but before you present your view, know what others have already said.
I’m still trying to balance my time so I don’t neglect forum participation.
Hi Salwa
This article sincerely struck home for me because I believe I hit the worst case of creative writer’s block in history at the end of 2008. I very nearly closed down my infant blog because I just couldn’t come up with anything that I felt was worthy of writing.
Your post has inspired me.
Thank you

Forums are definitely one of the best sources to get ideas for your blog. There are tons of questions being asked on forums daily and those are areas which we can tackle on if we are well-equipped in it.
Great write up Salwa.

I used to frequent forums answering questions before I had my blog. Now I can go back and see what I wrote for ideas. I can steal from myself.
Like Ned Carey, I also get Idea from forums and alike. Many ideas from different people can make a good post.
Nice post
You’ve lots of useful posts I’m beginning to think you’re after my own heart.
Including this post. Visiting and interacting in forums this I have yet to tackle and make a room for in my blogging routine. But I’ll get down to doing it, big thanks for your reminder.
You do as you preach huh? You’ve just been to my quiet blog. Very much appreciated.

I didn’t see it mentioned here but HitTail is a great way to find blog topics from the data on your own website. I use this on my own blog and find that it often gives me some great ideas based on the niche traffic that comes to my site. Check out HitTail for more info.

Great post, I have found forums to be outstanding places to find ideas for blog posts. Going to the top forums in your niche can get you solid ideas on what the community’s that surround your niche is wanting to know about. Also if you have an answer to there question on your blog, tell them about it and give a link back to your post on that topic.
