Ezine are electronic magazines. These are generally given to the subscribers to let them know of the latest buzz in the market and also used as a marketing device to let them know about the products and the current discounts being offered etc. Thus it is very important then that the ezine so created be published in the most effective way so as to keep the subscribers interested and make them visit the website once more. This adds to the traffic, improving the chances of increase in sales. So what should one take care while dealing with the publishing of an ezine.

Some of the most important factors to be considered are as follows:

1) Content of the ezine – the content should be useful and relevant. The subscribers should feel better and better informed after reading the ezine. Include all the latest news and preferably get an expert interviewed, as it will add more value. And if possible get a survey done and publish the results and its impact on the market. This catches the eyes of the readers, rather than the long texts, which are boring.

2) Links on the ezine – the ezine must have all the relevant links, which will direct the subscriber to your website or any other related website. This is very basic and important thing to remember, because 70% of the first time ezine publisher’s get it wrong and miss out on clients. Also the website needs to carry an invitation to the traffic to subscribe to the ezine, and make sure the invite is a good one.

3) Attractive Cover for the ezine – what looks attractive, feels attractive and it would make the ezine read more. So a cover should be made such that it hooks the subscriber and also makes him curious as to if the outside is so interesting, then what would the inside be like.

4) The Opening Lines of the ezine – no one has time enough to read the entire ezine word to word. Hence make sure that the opening lines and the titles of the articles and the news are very well framed and are able to catch the fancy of the readers. Hence, it is of utmost importance, because if the title is not good and the information is excellent it would just simply pass off without helping the readers.
